The full title is Matzo Balls for Breakfast: and Other Memories of Growing Up Jewish. It was published several months after Alan King's death. It is a wonderful collection of stories from Alan himself as well as many Jews in the arts, politics, sports, and the entertainment industry. Some are one-liners, others are longer stories requiring several pages. Also included is a foreword by Larry King and the 3 eulogies given at his funeral by Billy Crystal, Rick Moranis, and Barbara Walters.
You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy this one.
